Not this exact one, but it was a Saab 92x with a Subaru STI badge, the customary rubbed out Saab badging (why is their paint so horrible?), and stock STI wheels. Doin' the name Saabaru proud. Even had the same license plate as this one, but the Virginia version.

Way to be original...

More of a Saab WRX, but still cool.

Could be my old car. I had a black Aero 9-2X. And yeah, should say "SAAB WRX" vs. STI but still a great little car nevertheless.

And it may not have had the silly Saab key location, but the interior was markedly nicer than any WRX of the era.

It's not that the badge is rubbed out; it's actually a sticker on top of the silver circle bit, and that sticker happens to have pretty bad adhesion.

I thought I saw a half rubbed one on the front of a Saab once. But I know my BMW one fell off once, that's also a sticker. I superglued that shit right back on.

At least you didn't lose it! Also, the ones on the Saabaru are super thin and brittle plastic, so it's rare that they come off in one piece. It's easier just to replace them.

All this Saabaru talk makes me miss my 05 Linear (rear ended and totalled).
